The opening night cast included Becca Ayers (Jekyll & Hyde, 1st national tour), Kenneth Boys (Robert Goulet's Camelot), Herndon Lackey (Parade), Kate Wetherhead, Debra Wiseman (The Scarlet Pimpernel) and John Lloyd Young. Understudies were: Michael Greenwood (Imperfect Chemistry), Olivia Oguma (Les Miserables) and Sandy Rustin (Jolson & Co.) SARAH... was workshopped in October 2001 with Becca Ayers, Kenneth Boys, Herndon Lackey, Maria Thayer, Debra Wiseman and John Lloyd Young. A second workshop, in February of 2002, starred Becca Ayers, Kenneth Boys, Michael Greenwood, Kate Wetherhead and John Lloyd Young.
